Visitors begin their journey in a physical space transformed into a multi-sensory launch zone, where they receive a briefing before entering the virtual world. Once inside, each person wears a VR headset and is free to walk untethered through a large-scale environment — no teleportation, no controllers.
The virtual landscape seamlessly blends 6DoF walkable VR with stunning 360° footage filmed in actual space aboard the International Space Station, captured by Felix & Paul Studios in collaboration with NASA.
Participants navigate at their own pace, encountering:
- Intimate moments with real astronauts, sharing personal reflections about life in orbit;
- Breathtaking views of Earth, designed to recreate the “overview effect” described by astronauts;
- Soundscapes and environmental cues, which guide them through zones of exploration, reflection, and awe.
The entire experience is social — friends and families explore side by side, visible to one another as glowing avatars. Spatialized audio and smooth tracking ensure natural interaction, preserving the feeling of being truly together in the same space — just 400 kilometers above the Earth.
This is more than just a virtual tour. It's a shared emotional journey that reconnects participants with a sense of wonder, perspective, and presence.
