Antilatency was officially founded in 2016, but the team has been working together since 2010. The startup develops multipurpose positional tracking system and specializes in researches in computer vision and algorithm optimization.
In 2016 the team won an international startup grand-prix hosted by GoTech.
In 2017 the company raised $3m in investments for of the creation of the initial product and start of sales. The Antilatency tracker was included in the short list of "Best VR hardware E3 2017" by UploadVR media. At the end of 2017, Antilatency was selected as a member of ViveX Global accelerator (founded by HTC) and graduated from it in 2018. At the end of November 2018, a collaboration of Antilatency, Noitom, and Xiaomi made the largest VR installation for Mercedes Benz China. It was the first time when 150 people were present in the same VR environment simultaneously. The Antilatency team is currently 35 people strong.
The company will release the Antilatency tracking system at CES 2019 in Las Vegas, NV.
